25 Years ago, childhood friends Sean McCormick and Jed Kenedy would often do side jobs together around town while attending college. After working in our first careers we both decided to leave and go back to building, the work we truly enjoyed. In 2005 the partnership Great South Bay Home Improvements was formed with a simple philosophy: treat each of our customers as if they were our only customer. That led us to be the best home renovation contractors we can be, no matter what the job.

Our partnership allows us to have an owner on site to project manage, communicate and work along with our reliable team of subcontractors to ensure attention to every detail. Internally we also have an owner to oversee purchasing, deliveries, financials, inspections, and daily client communication. With our experienced staff and longtime subcontractors, the team concept is very visible on every job site.
